Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator/Sourcer is to be the primary support for building a viable candidate pipeline for field recruiting efforts and assist the HR Shared Services Team as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Effectively collaborates with the Human Resources Director to ensure all open positions are posted accurately on all sourcing sites. 

  • Collaborates with Human Resources Managers to staff nonexempt and exempt personnel across assigned the enterprise.

  • Develops and cultivates strong relationships with hiring managers as a primary recruiting resource.    

  • Continuously sources and screens applicants to ensure timely fill of vacancies.

  • Coordinates the interview, screening, testing, and rejection process for potential candidates.

  • Conducts reference checks as needed.

  • Coordinates with third party recruiting vendors on management positions as necessary.

  • Completes all clerical aspects of employment, such as obtaining signed offer letters, notifying the department of employee’s starting date, process workflow, coordinate company tools, and assists in onboarding tasks. 

  • Continuously works on developing a pool of qualified candidates for a variety of positions in advance of need.

  • Follows through and maintains regular contact with possible future candidates.   

  • Explains and assists hiring managers with the recruitment and onboarding processes in the HR Platform through resolution. 

  • Places extra job postings for markets with high staffing needs.

  • Assists in the set-up of Career Fairs/Hiring Events.

  • Monitors sourcing tools and actively contacts all viable incoming candidates from a variety of resources with a focus on quick turn urgent needs.

  • Coordinates holiday staffing needs.

  • Recommends revisions to company career site and social media channels as necessary to attract qualified candidates for open positions. 

  • Collaborates with vendor on necessary revisions to the applicant tracking system. 

  • Develops and cultivates relationships with colleges, military, and diversity hiring sources.  

  • Assists with the development of recruitment materials, metrics, programs, and usage of social media in recruiting and employment branding as needed.

  • Assists with new management employee orientations and monitors completion of onboarding paperwork, review of Company policies, and state specific legislation; and completes area manager in training as needed. Develops and presents training sessions on sourcing topics to improve hiring managers staffing competencies.

  • Maintains accurate candidate tracking spreadsheets as needed to monitor open requisitions.

  • Assists with reports on the applicant tracking system for sourcing, diversity, hires, decline reasons, cost per hire, and other needed metrics. 

  • Returns all emails and voice mails within 24 hours.

  • Assists in the creation of spreadsheets as directed to for the compensation process.  

  • Assists the Shared Services team as needed.    

  • Deals with interruptions and successfully manages multiple tasks.

  • Maintains highest level of confidentiality discretion, and integrity. 

  • Works additional hours as needed. 

  • Regular and punctual attendance.

  • Continuously looks for ways to increase professional development. 

  • Tracks, prioritizes, and finishes duties and projects as required and assigned in an efficient and timely manner.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30am – 5:30pm. 

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources.

  • 1 year of experience with interviewing candidates.   
  • 1 year of experience using applicant tracking systems.
  • 1-2 years of experience communicating human resources policies and procedures.
  • 2-4 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Intermediate Excel skills.    

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 

  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
