Material Handler/Sit Down Forklift Operator

CURRENTLY HIRING A 2nd SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER TO OPERATE SIT DOWN FORKLIFT!!!

Job duties include:

• Assist in staging and removing parts, materials and jigs
• Place items on, unload and move parts using carts
• Organize, store and stage materials
• Report shortages/overages and stock parts to supervisor
• Stage materials and parts for duration of run
• Ensure timely set ups of upcoming jobs to avoid down time
• Operate sit down forklift
• Remove and distribute empty pallets and baskets to and from departments as needed
• Ensure accurate count of parts
• Complete tags with proper part numbers
• Place parts in proper location and clearly write on route
• Comply with Standard Operating procedures
• Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, accidents/injuries to supervisor

Looking for the following:

• Previous experience with sit down OR stand up forklift
• At least 1 year of applicable warehouse experience
• Comfortable working with computers and scanners

This opportunity is on 2nd SHIFT! Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am.
