Position Summary:
This is the key position to drive new franchise growth, qualify franchise candidates, and continually improve our process to achieve or exceed projected results. This person will work to continually review and enhance all lead generation sources, as well as, strive to add other targeted marketing to candidate pools such as independent conversions, key occupational advertising, military and minorities. The leadership and developmental responsibilities related to this position also give strong potential to franchise development spanning added brands and building this department based on achieving initial results on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years successful franchise sales experience in a service concept
• Franchise sales personal achievement @ recent level of 20 awards per year for multiple years, at minimum, with 25+ per year desired and required minimum of 40+ awards per year as a team
• Strong track record of working independently to meet or exceed sales goals
• Experience creating new programs to drive sales growth
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills to lead presentations
• Strong reputation for highest ethics, integrity and principled leadership for success
Essential Functions:
1. Drive minimum of 40 new franchise awards annually leading a team through hands-on contribution, managing lead generation sources and programs as a department
2. Measure and manage franchise award pipeline and sales cycle results
3. Lead and coordinate Discovery Day presentation and entire candidate experience
4. Review and continually recommend lead generation improvements
5. Create and manage annual departmental budget to achieve 10% under-budget results for each year
6. Additional responsibilities and leadership required to drive results meeting or exceeding Plan
Competency/Skill Requirements:
Must be proficient in Google or Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with knowledge of web-based CRM systems and MapPoint software helpful.
Ideal candidate must possess:
· Maintain current Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) accreditation from the IFA
· Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
· Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Exceptional relationship-building via phone communication
• Strong project management skills
• Strong team orientation
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong writing skills (proofreading, grammar)
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work through conflict
Ideal candidate will be able to:
· Work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure growth environment
· Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal direction
• Work independently to drive results on weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Create strong relationships with selected alternative referral networks for enhanced results
