We are embarking upon a 10-year construction project to bring high-speed Internet to the extreme rural areas of Minnesota. Join us in making history like those who built the telephone network over 70 years ago. This project will build a strong future for you and for the state of Minnesota.

We seek a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Perham, MN to service and repair the company's heavy construction vehicles, trailers, and equipment in the field during the construction season and in the shop during the winter.

The following skills and experience are preferred:

• Two years of heavy equipment preventative maintenance and repair work in all aspects of maintaining equipment such as backhoes, drills, plows, mini excavators, etc.
• Possess an excellent safety record
• Valid Class A CDL with a clear driving record
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Frequent travel is required with per diem paid for overnight trips
• Basic computer skills including email, data entry, spreadsheets, etc.
• DOT inspection certification is a plus
