Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide superior service to our customers at all times.
• Understand fine food and beverage, including item preparation and proper presentation/service.
• Clean and maintain service stations and other work areas.
• Stock service stations with supplies, beverages, condiments, etc.
• Perform routine food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Show basic wine, beer, and spirit knowledge; understand UDABC laws.
• Deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure that alcoholic beverages are not sold or served to underage customers.
• Maintain room service log, and frequently pick-up hallways to ensure dirty dishes are not left in rooms or hallways.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED - preferred
• At least one year of relevant experience - preferred.
• Must have valid alcohol serving certification or ability to obtain one - preferred.
• Must have a valid Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain one - required.
• Good personal hygiene and neat appearance - required.
• Ability to deal with customers courteously and efficiently at all times - required.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills - required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time - required.
• Ability to bend, lift, and carry heavy objects - required.
• Ability to perform job duties - required.
