Our Parts Sales Team Members fuel our relationships with our vast array of customers. Whether it's taking customer orders over the phone or internet, our counter sales people are responsible for accurately finding the parts and supplies our customers need. The ideal Parts Sales team member will be organized and able to ask the right questions. They also need to be able to use a computer for parts look up. The ideal candidate for this position will be detailed and able to clearly communicate over the phone.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take client orders by listening to and clarifying requests identifying bus parts offering and explaining alternative solutions to accommodate the client's needs
  • Aid in monitoring inventory levels to ensure maximum profitability and product availability
  • Stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves accurately adjusting inventory system
  • Receives returned items by inspecting items returning payment issuing credit repacking and reshelving items returning damaged items to supplier
  • Maintain an exact inventory accounting at all times - including on hand, on order, on special order, per supplier classification, and multiple location items
  • Coordinate with service and body shops to ensure inventory availability
  • Process payment, collection and verify service
  • Ensure all orders are properly filled in a timely manner
  • Maintain CRM and be at the ready for any pointed promotional opportunities
  • Be the main point of contact for all clients and salesmen for DBBS Purchase inventory at best possible terms, strategy, and pricing
  • Seek ways to exceed the expectations of the team and clients
  • Conduct post order follow up
  • Resolve client concerns
