Part-Time Instructor

Young Rembrandts of Metro Milwaukee is currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking for mature, responsible adults to join our team of talented after school drawing instructors on a VERY part time basis. We are looking to fill positions in Menomonee Falls, Brookfield, Sussex, Waukesha, West Allis and Milwaukee.

Our mission is to grow creative, young minds through the Power of Drawing. Our 60 minute drawing classes take place at our partnering schools immediately after school. We provide everything - a paid training program, the curriculum, the supplies and ongoing support.

Young Rembrandts is a national award-winning, after-school drawing program celebrating its 30-year anniversary. Our exclusive program dispels the myth that "art" and "creativity" are talents that a child has or doesn't have. We view drawing as a fundamental skill that can and should be learned by all children in a world where having creative ability is a tremendous asset. This position is as fun for you as it is for the students!

Art or education degrees are not required. What is required is a love of children and a passion for working with them in an effort to grow their creative ability through the arts - by teaching them the fundamentals of drawing using our proven step-by-step drawing methods and curriculum.

Required Skills:

-Proven experience working with groups of elementary-aged children

-Highly energetic and enthusiastic

-Available to teach after school hours (typically after 2:30 p.m.) several days per week
