Discover is hiring! Our Customer Service Department is looking for Balance Transfer Customer Service Representatives. 
We have PART TIME (25-29 hrs) Evening Shifts (starting at 2:00 PM) available! PM schedules are eligible for a shift differential. Starting pay is $13.00!

The Balance Transfer Customer Service Representative is an entry level, part-time position that will be responsible for providing best in class service to our customers. You will be receiving two types of inbound calls for our Customer Service Department. You will have the opportunity to enhance your persuasive skills by encouraging customers to take advantage of Discover Cards features and benefits.

This position will start 10/22/2018 with either a early am start or mid afternoon pm start time.

 

**Awesome agents will promote to a full-time role within six to nine months and receive a pay increase!**


Positions also known as: Entry Level Inbound Customer Service, Part Time Customer Service, ROCC BT, Customer Service Representative

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.                   Offer one call solutions by listening to the needs of our customers

2.       Calculate the interest and communicate fees for all balance transfers while providing a high level of customer service

3.       Assist with payment solutions

4.       Review transactions, product services, and billing inquiries to nurture customer relationships on every interaction

5.       Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs

6.       Deliver great customer care by responding to concerns regarding accounts in a fast paced, structured environment

7.       Produce extraordinary results measured by customer satisfaction, efficiency, and call quality

8.       Perform other duties assigned to you

9.       Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes


Key Skills/ Qualifications:

 

1.                   Capable of building customer loyalty through listening, relationship building, and professional and persuasive communication skills 

2.       Able to influence, creative problem solve, and find customized solutions

3.       Flexible and adapt to change well in a customer service environment

4.       Must be adaptable and able to see the benefits of change

5.       Able to navigate various computer applications, retrieving relevant information to respond to and service customer inquiries.
