About this job

Position Summary:
Responsible for performing production functions in the Formulation Areas according to company and department SOPs. Individual will perform formulation of all Media products. Individual will perform sterile filtration in a class 100 LFBSC. Individual will prepare all production filling assemblies. Individual will maintain records to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. Individual will work in a fast-paced, safety-oriented, team environment.

Formulation Responsibilities:
Formulates liquid media products using an Electronic Batch Record Formulates liquid media products using a Paper Batch Record Weighs materials using various size balances Operates various lab equipment: pH meter, Osmometer, Balance, Water Bath Performs sterile filtration in a class 100 LFBSC Orders and maintains adequate levels of production and laboratory supplies Hot Rinses formulation tanks Maintains a clean and orderly area. Completes cleaning logs Filtration

Filtration Responsibilities:
Hot rinses and cleans all formulation tanks and drum filler. Operates various lab equipment: conductivity meter and water bath Performs integrity testing of filters Prepares filling assemblies for sterilization Performs heat inactivation of serum Prepares drums for filling Orders and maintains adequate levels of production and laboratory supplies Performs line clearance to release product for filling Maintains clean and orderly area.

Responsible for performing production functions in the Filtration Areas according to company and department SOPs. Individual will perform final filtration of Media products. Individual will clean all formulation tanks and associated equipment.

Experience:
1-3 years hands-on experience in cGMP environment preferred.
Aseptic processing experience and training preferred.

Knowledge:
Ability to follow recipes for liquid media productions. Knowledge of Delta V and analytical equipment (pH meter, osmometer) preferred
