Store Manager

 

At our Company, we grow People, Brands, and Businesses! We are hiring a dynamic full-time Store Manager to manage and operate a pop up retail shop for an online retailer of home goods and furnishing. The first assignment for this Manager will be to open the new shop as a unique event showcasing exciting home products helping people find the perfect furniture, home furnishings, décor and goods all at the right price. Candidates should have exceptional Customer Service, be tech-savvy, passionate about design, and have a command over sales. Our ideal candidate is excited to share home décor options with new and existing customers.  

 

Things to consider:

  • Pop Up Shop located at Natick Mall
  • 30 - 40+ retail hours a week from Nov 1, 2018 - Jan. 4th, 2019
    • Mandatory pre-event training week of Oct. 22nd
    • Pop-up runs from Nov. 1 - Jan. 2  
    • Availability to work Mall holiday hours including Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, NYE, NYD
  • Competitive pay rates starting at $35/hr. - $40/hr.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Pop Up store team
  • Meet sales objectives, merchandising standards, manage operations, supervise & train associates
  • Engage and inform customers on key brand points and what is happening at the Pop-up (giveaways, sweepstakes, programming, etc.)
  • Be a brand expert - understand the brand, products and services, and guide customers through the online experience
  • Coaches and develops store team in soft skills and selling techniques
  • Create and maintain a friendly and inviting customer-first atmosphere
  • Open and close the store and protect all assets including: key control of the store, the Manager’s area and back bank.
  • Ensure reports and updates are completed and sent to leadership timely

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent job-related experience
  • 5 - 7 years Retail/Sales Management experience
  • Proven ability to manage, develop and motivate a large team
  • Able to independently manage and drive personal workload
  • Basic Knowledge of home décor and renovations
  • Understanding of how the online retail experience works
  • Excellent problem solver with a proven track record of driving results
  • Strong internet/PC skills – comfortable in a technology-driven business, strong skills in Excel
  • Bilingual a plus (English & Spanish)
