 The Right Stuff

  • 2+ years of experience in social media role, implementing and optimizing both paid and social campaigns.
  • Strong technical knowledge of social platforms, specifically Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills; ability to develop predictive modeling; Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables.
  • Strong passion to work in a dynamic and ever-changing International business preferred.
  • Working knowledge of attribution platforms; Knowledge of testing practices, including A/B, multivariate, etc.
  • Experience in media buying for direct response advertisers with specific CPA targets preferred; Experience working with multi-cultural audiences, or international marketing experience preferred.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, energetic and flexible individual to join our International Business Unit as a Social Media Lead. Candidates will have outstanding experience managing high volume social media for both organic and paid strategies. You understand how to drive engagement and convert followers into customers. You are a forward thinking, passionate and an innovative leader. You are able to drive strategies as well as guide data-driven tactical decisions in close to real time. This position is both strategic and tactical in scope, to independently generate strategic insights for campaigns and execute upon them. The ideal candidate will have prior online trafficking and social campaign management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with bid management platforms and active campaign optimizations. This position must possess a strong inner drive to contribute to a team and to business goals. Successful applicants should have a clear passion for paid and organic Social Media initiatives, international business, and an understanding of social media’s role in the customer journey. This position will work closely with the International Paid Media Lead on both DISH & Sling International brands.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define, drive and clearly articulate the International organic & paid social media strategy including channel prioritization & structure, content recommendations, messaging development (in conjunction with the brand team), budget, and major initiatives to meet and exceed performance expectations.
  • Recommend highly engaging Facebook posts to develop “must follow” feeds in order to grow community & following while further increasing engagement.
  • Implement and optimize social campaigns utilizing various strategies such as look-a-like audiences, retargeting, personalization, and audience segmentation.
  • Manage multiple organic and paid social calendars and approval processes with various international agencies, all with different goals, topics and testing schedules.
  • Develop listening boards within Sprinklr and/or Lithium to actively monitor social sentiment and brand mentions, identify and mitigate negative situations, report violation of social and brand terms; leverage feedback to shape social strategy and improve the international customer experience regarding respective brands.
  • Conceptualize and bring to life new advertising and organic offerings to increase conversion rates and improve the overall performance of campaigns.
