The DV Implementation Manager is responsible for the overall end - to - end implementation of Ancillary Accounts (Dental / Vision). Individuals in this role will provide operational support to the National and Key Account segments in the areas of implementation / installation and customer maintenance. They work regularly with internal business partners such as Eligibility, Underwriting, Medical / Ancillary Only Implementation Managers, and Sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participating in benefit intent conversations related to new business, renewals, plan additions and plan changes
  • Providing Ancillary only implementation (Dental / Vision) product expertise
  • Supporting UHG and its employer groups as it relates to Dental / Vision account plan set up
  • Customer issue research and resolution
  • Address global Dental / Vision strategies, capabilities and remediation plans
  • Building relationships, with both internal and external business partners, is essential in this role and is accomplished through effective communication and assisting in timely research of Dental / Vision plan set up issues as appropriate
  • Balancing competing priorities and organizational skills are critical elements in the ongoing success of this role
  • Facilitate end-to-end implementation of Dental / Vision Account plan
  • Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise and where necessary, make recommendations regarding plan design options
  • Research implementation / set up issues and develop customer specific resolution
  • Research and provide proactive solutions to non-standard requests and problems by interpreting the client request and aligning appropriate resources
  • Maintain various tracking and metrics systems in a clear and consistent timely manner to communicate status of ongoing work (ie: CDX, SBM, ORBIT, Readiness report)
  • Continuously explore and influence improvements to processes and tools that will achieve better outcomes for internal and external customers
  • Enthusiastically participate in regular team meetings to support effective and efficient multi-dimensional critical communication
  • Serve as a resource to others
  • Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
  • Work with less structured, more complex issues
  • Other duties as required to support the IMO and customer implementation team

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint (Word - create correspondence and work within templates. Excel - data entry, sort / filter, work within tables, v - lookups, pivot tables, utilize formulas. PowerPoint - create and present slides)
Asset:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to navigate a complex organization to accomplish customer satisfaction
  • Self-directed with the ability to prioritize caseloads based on business and customer need
  • Ability to work in a process driven environment
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, and long periods working at a computer
