Summary Description:
This position is responsible for assisting our customers with the proper fitting of ski and / or snowboard equipment while continuing to provide best-in-class guest service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fit boots, skis, snowboards and/or poles to guest satisfaction
- Adjust ski / snowboard bindings to proper specifications per ASTM standards
- Demonstrate and maintain the high standard of guest service
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends
- Maintain merchandising of product lines and store cleanliness standards
- Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
- Demonstrate proper knowledge of company cash handling policies and procedures
- Be on-time for your scheduled work-shift, with proper and clean appearance
- Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
- Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task
- Operate at the highest standards of safety
- Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company
- Other duties as may be assigned
- Strong guest service skills
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable working with people
- Ski background, preferred
- Knowledge of alpine and snowboard binding installations, preferred
- Experience with basic service tools for binding adjustment
- Basic computer skills
- English fluency, written and verbal
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 25 pounds
