Established company/call center in the medical industry is seeking an Assistant Director for their call center.
Location: near Farmingdale, NY
Summary: Assisting the Director in developing and implementing workflows, day-to-day operations for the Call Center; Works closely with the Director to obtain desired performance results and supports execution, measuring and successful outcomes of short and long term departmental goals.
Essential duties include but not limited to:
- Oversee supervision of inbound calls to multiple ambulatory clinic sites
- Oversee supervision of outbound calls as directed
- Interact with staff and patients in a supportive, caring manner and providing impeccable customer service
- Develop, train and disseminate departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain and improve call center operations
- Perform related duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in supervisory or management role preferably in customer service or call center environment
- Working knowledge of Ambulatory Care environment helpful
- Excellent communication and computer skills required
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
