Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

We currently have openings for Weekend Specialists! Are you looking for part-time work (Friday night through Monday morning)? All 3 shifts available &ndash 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Weekend Shift Differential included!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

• Medication and appointment reminders

• Assistance with grooming and bathing

• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

• Companionship and conversation

• Alzheimer's Care

• Transportation to local errands/appointments as needed

• Pet care

   

  Requirements to be a Weekend Specialist CAREGiver:

   

• Previous or Current experience working as either a PCA or CNA

• Must be willing to work around pets (usually cats or dogs)

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

• Ability to read, write, and converse in English, have appropriate dialog with clients, and maintain client documentation

• Ability to respond promptly when client calls out for assistance

• Ability to sit, stand, and bend/stoop repeatedly throughout shift and lift up to 25lbs.

• Ability to complete light housekeeping chores and prepare meals as required

• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen

• Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
