Aerotek has partnered up with a large manufacturing/production facility here in Virginia Beach, VA who is in need for two Maintenance Mechanics that will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing/production process.
Job Description
Seeking experienced mechanic with industrial manufacturing experience. Responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance on machines, troubleshooting mechanical issues on conveyors, hydraulics, gears, pumps, valves, etc. Employee will be required to interpret blueprints and minor welding or manual machining experience a plus.
Qualifications
- Must be able to troubleshoot and make mechanical repairs to production equipment
- Must be capable of reading and comprehending blueprints
- Must have experience with high voltage (480v)
- Capable of skillfully using both powered and non-powered hand tools
- 5 years of experience in an industrial electro-mechanical role
