Quality Control Inspector

$18 to $22 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime

Northwest Fort Worth

6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with manufacturing processes
  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Job shop experience inspecting heavy equipment
  • Experience with heavy industrial manufacturing such as metal fabrication and welding
  • Certified Welding Inspector certification is a plus
  • Experience with electrical inspection is a plus
  • Experience with Nondestructive Testing (Dye penetrate, magnetic particle, and Ultrasonic Testing) is a plus
  • Knowledge of American Welding Society standards is a plus
  • American Institute of Steel Construction certification is a plus
  • National Association of Corrosion Engineers certification is a plus
  • Good communications skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Able and willing to take and pass a drug screen
Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints
  • Verify that materials and assembled product matches design
  • Verify coupling alignment
  • Perform inspections during production and report on any defects
  • Inspections will include metal fabrication, welding, machining, electrical, assembly, material inspections, vendors, first article inspections, in process inspections, and final inspections
  • Document inspections
  • Work with production management to improve product reliability
