This is a full time position, working dinner shifts.

JOB TITLE: Restaurant Expeditor or Food Runner

REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager

BASIC PURPOSE: Facilitate assembly of food order from front line to server to ensure guest service quickly and efficiently and consistent presentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Assemble order according to use record specifications.  Read kitchen order print out from computer to organize order.  (35%)

2.Garnish place and supply appropriate condiments in preparation for server pick up.  (20%)

3.Set up all necessary condiments and garnishments in preparation for meal period.  Ensure items kept at proper temperature at all times.  (15%)

4.Act as liaison between service staff and line cooks.  (10%)

5.Breakdown, wrap, label and date and store products; clean and sanitize work station.  (10%)

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(5%)

1.Complete tray set up of any other required items. 

2. Break down trays of dirty dishes returned from dining room.
