Job Overview:   Rotators drive sales and execution of strategic merchandising initiatives within their store. Business Leads/ Rotator will manage TTL Rotator vendor business within their store by recapping business weekly to identify what is working, what isn’t, and how to address slow-selling areas. Rotators drive sales through educating sales staff via seminars and product knowledge, tracking and merchandising new deliveries, executing corporate zoneograms, managing and building clientele lists, and serving as locational experts by communicating specific customer needs and shopping patterns to both the Central buying office and vendor community. Rotators execute top-side Central strategy through weekly conference calls with the Buying office and maintain email contact with both Central and the vendor community.   Essential Functions: Rotator is an incremental staff addition to his/her store. Rotators work across store teams to connect all the dots to drive best practice sales and execution. Rotators partner with existing store teams to complete the following tasks: Merchandising: Track incoming shipments, put new goods out on the floor, manage inventory flow (ensuring little to no backstock when possible), ensure sales floor is properly signed for sales and markdowns Sales + Product Knowledge: Leverage vendor relationships and product knowledge to conduct informal seminars with fellow associates to increase product and brand awareness across entire store.   Customer Experience: Build brand-specific clientele to enhance shopping experience. Drive grassroots store events to increase brand awareness and drive sales   Communication: Rotators provide bi-weekly vendor comments and attend conference calls with NY Rotator team to communicate ‘what’s working, what’s not and how to fix it’ in regard to their particular location. Rotators create and implement best practices in their store to drive sales, turn and gross margin above company average.   Qualifications:   Education/Experience: • No specific educational accomplishments are necessary. • Exceptional customer service skills. Possess strong merchandising skills.   Communication Skills: • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers and all levels of management. • Must be able to make observations on the floor and put them into an actionable written recap.   Mathematical Skills: • Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator.   Reasoning Ability: • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.   Physical Demands: • Must be able to reach and use hands and arms continuously. • This position requires substantial bending, lifting, standing, and walking. Must be able to move and/or lift at least 30 lbs.   Other Skills: • Ability to collaborate and as a member of a team. • Demonstrate an energetic and positive attitude, strong communication and Interpersonal skills. • Possess vision and creativity. • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication.   Work Hours: • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.     This job description is not all inclusive.
