As a Marketing Intern of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, you will be specifically working on Local Restaurant Marketing for Social Monk Asian Kitchen, a new fast-casual concept with a menu that has been created by award-winning, Singaporean Chef Mohan Ismail. As the Local Restaurant Marketing Intern you will play an integral part in supporting our Marketing department and the Social Monk brand by assisting with ongoing projects and responsibilities that relate to your future career. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of how a Marketing department functions by interacting with the entire team and with the local community.  

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will work with a Marketing team of 10, located in Calabasas Hills, CA, supporting a global $2.3 billion publicly traded company with over 200 full service restaurants and more than 39,000 staff members. 

Here’s more of what you will get to do:
  • Assist in developing Local Restaurant Marketing plans and implementing tactics and procedures to help grow traffic and sales.
  • Support the Marketing department in creating Local Restaurant Marketing and event collateral (fliers, offer cards, etc.).
  • Serve as brand ambassador at local/community events.
  • Help to create and foster partnerships with local businesses (dining incentives, etc.).

Qualifications


  • Enrollment as an active college student in a marketing or similar field program.
  • Available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Good knowledge of the Westlake Village area and the surrounding neighborhoods.
  • Outgoing, dynamic and friendly personality.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to sell the brand as a key brand ambassador.
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with helping to plan and execute marketing events.
  • Passion for the food industry and all things social!
