About this job

Personal Care Assistant/Home Health Aide

You will provide assistance with tasks intended to help a client with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living). These non-medical, routine personal healthcare tasks are characterized by "hands-on touching" and may include (but are not limited to):

  • bathing
  • personal grooming and hygiene
  • dressing
  • toileting elimination mobility
  • nutrition/hydration feeding
  • medication reminders
  • mental/cognitive needs

You will also perform a variety of household services/tasks to ease the lifestyle of clients which include (but are not limited to):

  • light housekeeping
  • meal planning preparation
  • laundry
  • helping with pets
  • grocery shopping
  • errands & transportation to appointments
  • standby and/or assist with transfers/ambulation (lifting required)

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6 MONTHS OF PERSONAL CARE experience OR CNA LICENSE
  • Must pass background check, DMV check, and pre-employment drug screening
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job

 

*Successful caregiver candidates must becompassionate, responsible, dependable and will need to have a passion for providing quality care to our clients. We provide performance reviews after 90 days, 6 months, and annually thereafter

 

We have a part-time/full-time opening for a PCA/HHA.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.

Wage: $11.00 to $12.00
