POSITION SUMMARY:

The Best Yet Market Deli Team Leader is responsible for all daily functions of the Deli Department.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:(Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

• Provide training and development to all Deli Team Members, use training checklists with newly hired team members as well as candidates for promotion to a Leadership position to evaluate and ensure their preparation for such positions.
• Meet deadlines for completing all task assignments and paperwork. Follow-up on all store visit evaluations performed by the Deli Director in a timely fashion
• Conduct Quarterly evaluations, Constructive reviews, and annual performance reviews for Deli Team Members. Deliver such reviews at the store with the Store Team Leader and/or a member of the Human Resources department.
• Conduct regular department meetings.
• Attend all company-sponsored training events, certifications, and other events
• Conduct quarterly inventory.
• Follow company dress code. Deli Team Leaders must wear a Best Yet Market hat, apron, and chef coat.
