Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Housekeeping Dept. to perform General Clean / Preventive Maintenance Program
• Perform daily mechanical and safety inspections and routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled work requests and maintenance projects.
• Respond to all emergency and alarm situations.
• Responsible for the operation of various hand and power tools in a Safe manner.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and good working conditions in all work areas.
• Endeavor to maintain positive public relations and a pleasant attitude with all owners, guests and associates

Qualifications:

• Detail oriented, strong organizational skills
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous Hotel or Apartment Building Maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC experince a plus
• Good interpersonal skills
• Work well under pressure
• Maintain a neat appearance
• Must be a positive "team player"
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Position requires stooping and bending, climbing ladders and stairs
• Requires visual observation abilities
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
