Installation and Field Service Specialist
North Light Color, a leading supplier of large-format printing equipment and supplies has an opening for a Installation and Field Service Specialist in our Austell, GA facility.

General Responsibilities:
As a Installation and Field Service Specialist, you will be primarily focused on new installations of, and repair on, Wide Format Printers and related equipment. You'll take a company vehicle, go into customer businesses, and represent North Light Color to our customers. You'll also learn and perform a variety of duties including: training; server software setup/configuration; and answering questions customers may have regarding installation/use of and issues with their equipment using a queue system.
Specific Responsibilities:
Travel is required, about 50% of time spent on the job; usually local (GA).
Make service visits to repair large- and grand-format inkjet printers, vinyl cutters (roll-fed and flatbed), and other related equipment.
Perform customer printer and server new installations and training for both large and small customer locations.
Work with and use hand tools, at times power tools (uncrating equipment), and computer equipment.
Complete appropriate paperwork functions as prescribed by management.
Drive company vehicles responsibly in performance of job duties; when required.
Respond to customer assistance enquiries, using phone, email or onsite visit questions, and enter notes upon completion of calls into our database.
Performs other duties such as providing general assistance to other employees as directed.
Physical Requirements:
Physical effort represented by occasional handling of heavy objects (approx. 50-100 lbs.) and materials.
Use of hand tools; fine motor skills.
Experience/Skills:
Entry level; 0 to 18 months experience.
High school diploma or GED required; trade school training preferred.
Valid driver's license; satisfactory driving record required.
General level of mechanical and consumer electronic devices knowledge.
Ability to interact and communicate with customers and co-workers.
Ability to work somewhat flexible work hours, including occasional evenings as travel requires.
Knowledge of ONYX, Caldera and other RIP software and PC’s preferred.
Knowledge of large-format printers such as HP, Epson, Mimaki and more is a definite advantage.
Training will be provided on the above equipment and software.
