Job Description
The Business Development Intern will work under the VP, Sales Excellence. You will learn about our products and solutions, conduct market and company research, and talk with contacts and companies.
Responsibilities:
- Contact marketing leads and prospective clients by email, social media, or phone.
- Identify business opportunities and schedule introductory sales calls with the prospect and the sales team.
- Identify client needs and understand the value of Experian's solutions.
- Research and respond to prospect questions, and report on campaign and lead generation success.
- Analyze prospecting efforts and develop sales strategies and territory plans to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with Sales Management to create targeted sales opportunities and enhance BDR efficiency.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's program in Business Administration, Marketing or related field of study
- Return to school in Fall 2025 to complete degree
- Knowledge of CRM and prospecting tools e.g., SFDC, SalesLoft ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator
- Previous business development experience in a B2B industry is a plus
