Dining Services Manager

Duties & Responsibilities● Serve meals on a serving line
● Prevent contamination following proper, handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
● Display food in an organized, clean and attractive manner
● Prioritize tasks and time effectively, ensuring food is prepared and served promptly
● Set up and clear tables with correct condiments, dishes, and sanitation
● Manage customer feedback and requests communicating with kitchen team
● Assist guests with dietary inquiries and recommendations.
● Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe working area
● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training● 18 years of age or older
● Required: High school diploma or equivalent
● Preferred: Basic understanding of culinary skills and practices
● Preferred: Experience in customer-facing roles demonstrating communication skills
● Ability to obtain a West Virginia Food Handlers certification (training provided)
● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
● Be or become a registered member of Scouting America
Performance Results● Demonstrates food safety protocols with no errors in food contamination or storage
● Engage in fostering team spirit and regularly showing appreciation with each other
● Efficient time management and teamwork leading smooth kitchen operations.
Physical Requirements● Up to 10 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
