Senior Software Engineer, Python - Front-office Trading Applications

Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm that has been a leader in the industry for 20+ years. With a HQ in Greenwich, Connecticut, this firm has over 500 employees and manages more than $150B AUM for various institutional investors. They are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join their special investments group where you will be building various applications within the python ecosystem. Job Title:Senior Software Engineer / Quantitative Research DeveloperLocation:Office in Greenwich, CT (50min commute from Grand Central). This is a hybrid role, with an onsite requirement 3x per week. Required Technology and Skills:5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with expertise in PythonStrong understanding of Python ecosystem such as Pandas, NumPy, StreamLit, etc. Experience and understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-based application developmentExpertise in big data applicationsGreat communication skills and ability to gather and implement requirementsGreat work ethic and ability to work autonomously without need for micro-managementExperience working in financial services / trading applications / Front-office applicationsAdditional Skills: Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related fieldExperience supporting financial/trading and/or mission-critical applicationsSalary Range:  170,000 – 200,000 base salary, plus $35,000 - $50,000 annual cash bonus (Total cash compensation $200,000 - $250,000).
