Taxi Driver Phoenix - Independent Contractor

This position is an independent contractor position. You have the freedom to choose your own hours and work for yourself. Training is two days and we'll have you driving by the third day. Our drivers are paid per mile and will start earning when they complete training. Paid daily with opportunities to earn extra. Drivers able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card have the opportunity to earn more as a DCS driver. Our cabs are available for lease at the lowest cost in the valley. Our Rookie lease rate for the first week of driving is just $50 a day. After that, regular lease rate is $95. No upfront costs. Pay later! Night drivers only pay $60 lease rate. Wheelchair drivers earn $15 extra for each wheelchair they load. We allow you to take the vehicle home for personal use and therefore we do not provide gas. Leasing one day per month keeps you an active driver. Drug test is required prior to driving any of our vehicles. Zero drug policy and that does include marijuana. We are aware that it is legal but it's a safety position which means insurance will only cover a driver with a negative result. To apply click on the link below:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 23 or older
• If 62 or over, must complete and pass a DOT Physical
• Negative drug test result (including marijuana)
• Pass a criminal background check
• No DUI's
• No AT-FAULT accidents
• Must be able to communicate with passengers

• 21+ years or older
• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Review
• Drug screening
• Driving test
• Speaks English
• Reads English

• Has (or willing to open) a checking account for direct deposit
