SOC Ranger Supervisor

● Receive and evaluate incoming guests, ensuring accurate documentation and verification

● Direct guests to appropriate locations using maps and quality phone etiquette

● Dispatch relevant and key communication, updates, and alerts to staff and guests in emergencies

● Use two-way radio systems to communicate with local authorities and staff

● Monitor daily gate operations and follow steps accurately responding to security situations

● Monitor weather with software and provide updates to property immediately

● Remain calm and vigilant in stressful situations, emergencies, and weather-related emergencies

● Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area

● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership

● Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook

● 18 years of age or older

● Required: Successfully pass competency training providing during orientation

● Strong verbal and written communication and etiquette skills

● Ability to quickly resolve issues and distractions at the gate and on the phone

● General knowledge of computer skills (email, texting, internet and software navigation_

● General knowledge of Microsoft products (Word and Excel)

● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination

● Be or become a registered member of Scouting America

● Give regular feedback to manager for improvements in department and operations

● Successfully resolve customer needs and questions within 5 minutes

● Up to 12 hours a day of either standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
