Job Summary

The Contenti Company is one of the foremost distributors of jeweler’s tools and equipment in the United States and Canada. This position involves picking and packing customer orders from an inventory of 11,000 SKUs. Shipments range from small parcels to pallet-loads of materials. Because some orders consist of a very long list of items, accuracy and attention to detail are essential. The position requires that you undergo hazardous material training if you have not already had this training.

Requirements

Basic computer skills

Knowledge of UPS Worldship

Ability to prepare bills of lading

Familiarity with Outlook

Familiarity with Endicia Professional Software

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Possess basic math skills

Ability to conform to established procedures for maintaining accuracy

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to pay attention to detail

Familiarity with hazardous shipping procedures and regulatory paperwork is a plus

Knowledge of international shipping procedures is also a plus
