Reporting directly to the Manager of Computer & Control Systems Engineering, you'll work closely with technicians and engineers to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement.

What youll be doing:
- Design, develop, and commission automation systems for industrial equipment, focusing on PLC and combustion management systems.
- Program PLCs, drive systems, and SCADA interfaces, bringing systems from design through to commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, creating detailed project manuals and electrical schematics.
- Provide on-site support for SCR system commissioning, offering training, presentations, and technical guidance to clients.
- Develop work scopes, budgets, and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge in SCR systems, metallurgy, fluid systems, and industrial furnace operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in PLC process and control systems, ideally in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC systems, CAD (AutoCAD), SCADA, and HMI applications.
- Strong technical skills in computer programming, networking, database management, and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
