Job Description
Job Description: TAS is a nationally recognized aircraft repair facility specializing in Twin Cessna aircraft. TAS Aviation is seeking a qualified and licensed A&P Technician, preferably with experience on piston engine and turboprop aircraft. A&P Technicians will work on an array of different specific jobs in accordance with FAA regulations and should have experience in all aspects of generalized aircraft maintenance.
Duties Include:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as assigned in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Inspect and diagnose aircraft systems and determine condition and necessary repairs.
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance as required on all aircraft systems.
- Keep and maintain correct records as required by FAA regulation and TAS Aviation standard.
Skills Needed:
- Active A&P Certificate - Required
- Past experience with general aviation aircraft, specifically piston engine aircraft and turboprop aircraft - strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of aircraft systems and components, specifically in General Aviation, piston engine and turboprop aircraft.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong Critical Thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay: Between $21/hour and $26/hour based on experience
