Summary: The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will prepare the internal and external reports as well as the SEC and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete regulatory filings and assist in process improvement initiatives and documentation of procedures.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly risk-based capital ratios and support compliance with regulatory capital rules.
  • Prepare entries related to stock-based compensation and support all aspects of related accounting.
  • Contribute to quarterly/annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, 11-K, etc.), including revising assigned sections, preparing workpapers, and incorporating feedback from colleagues and business leaders to ensure accuracy. This includes XBRL tagging of financial statements and footnotes and managing SEC reporting software (Workiva).
  • Complete GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists and assist in the development of ESG reporting processes.
  • Provide audit, accounting, and compliance support, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all information requests.
  • Prepare various schedules for internal reporting.
  • Prepare and review schedules and reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors, and assist with the audit of financial statements and related footnotes.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting.
  • CPA license or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in banking or financial institutions is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including research capabilities on updates to SEC disclosure requirements and regulatory reporting.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build and leverage effective working relationships.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft GL and Workiva software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary:
  • The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 depending upon relevant experience.
  • The company provides a competitive benefits package.
