Job Duties:
• Assumes responsibility for continued professional growth and development, by participating in continuing education programs and other appropriate learning experiences consistent with the focus and goals of our center.
• Administers physical therapy services in accordance with the Arizona Physical Therapy Practice Act, Scope of Practice, Code of Ethics, and expectations of our center
• Assigns, delegates, and supervises tasks to support staff.

Qualifications:
• Arizona State Licensure as a physical therapist
• Doctoral degree or residency program completion from accredited physical therapy program
• In good standing with the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy Licensure
• Evaluates for and administers all forms of Physical Therapy consistent with the mission and goals of our center; supervises supportive personnel; assists in administration of the office; performs related duties as required. Maybe appointed to act as clinical director in absence of the current clinical director and practice owner as delegated

Professional Status and public Relations:
• Keep abreast of new techniques and trends in the field of Physical Therapy.
• Prepare and give talks to community groups, staff and patient populations as requested.
• Maintain good public relations with all community sources.
• Participate in APTA meetings and special interest groups to support our profession.
• Actively participate in activities to improve the facility.
• To actively participate and adhere to all policies and procedures in this and other facility manuals (OSHA, HIPAA, Corporate Compliance).

Knowledge:
• Principles and practice of Physical Therapy
• Thorough knowledge of current orthopedic physical therapy best practices.
• APTA Code of Ethics
• Health and Safety rules and regulations
• Proper and professional communication
• Departmental layout
• Arizona Practice Act and Code/Rules
