Position: ATHLETICAPPAREL PRODUCT MANAGER

We are seeking a highly experienced Athletic Apparel Product Manager with a deep understanding of sports apparel design, garment fit, styling, and athlete-specific needs. This role is ideal for a professional with strong product development expertise in the sports industry, rather than a sales-focused background. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing apparel lines, understanding performance-driven design, and driving innovation within athletic apparel.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of product strategies across all sport categories, including men's, women's, and youth apparel.
• Drive new product development, from concept to market, ensuring alignment with performance, fit, and functional needs of athletes.
• Research and analyze current sports apparel trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with designers, material developers, and suppliers to achieve the highest level of performance and quality.
• Manage P&L responsibilities, setting pricing strategies and ensuring profitability.
• Work closely with overseas factories to coordinate production schedules and maintain quality standards.
• Forecast sales trends and work with inventory analysts to optimize stock levels.
• Develop marketing and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Ensure all products meet functional, regulatory, and performance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in sportswear product management or apparel development.
• Strong background in garment fit, silhouettes, and performance-driven apparel design.
• Experience in the sports industry-working with athletes, teams, or performance brands.
• Exceptional ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing.
• Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Product Development, or Business preferred
• Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier meetings, product launches, and industry events.
