Job Opportunity: Mohs Nurse, Full time (4 days/32-36 hours/week)

Northwestern Michigan Dermatology in Traverse City is currently looking for an LPN or RN nurse to join our Mohs Surgical team. Mohs is a specialized, out-patient surgery to remove skin cancer that is performed in our clinic. This position requires someone who is comfortable working at a fast pace, yet has patience while we await real-time lab results. We are willing to train the right individual and offer a team approach to patient care in a friendly, fast-paced work environment. If you are reliable, professional, and have a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you! The starting wage for this position ranges from $24.00- $29.00/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing a sterile environment
• Preparing and monitoring the patient and assisting during surgical procedures.
• When not in surgery, your time is focused on recording surgical notes, patient follow-up (scheduling, phone calls) and cleaning.
