CDL B Scrap Metal Dump Truck Driver

We are looking for a full-time or part-time CDL B Local Driver. We are a scrap metal company in downtown New Haven and you will be responsible for driving a load lugger roll-off or straight job providing local service. There will be some forklift work and light labor at times. We have been serving the community for over 60 years.

Hours for the position are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays!

We offer a VERY competitive salary - commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a lugger, roll-off, or straight truck
• Pick up and deliver industrial metal in containers
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents immediately
• Inspect the truck before and after every trip

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL B license and a clean driving is required
• Must live within 30 minutes of our location in New Haven
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
