The City of North Bend is seeking a City Administrator for this picturesque mountain town of 8,260 residents located 30 minutes east of Seattle. Tucked at the base of the Cascade Mountains along I-90, North Bend is a major year-round tourist destination and serves as a basecamp for an expansive mountain bike and hiking trail system. The city lies minutes east of the tech corridor of Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond where major employers include Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, and T-Mobile.

Incorporated in 1909, North Bend operates under the Mayor-Council form of government with a seven-member City Council. The City serves a population of 8,260 across 4.5 square miles with a 2025-26 budget of $221 million and a team of 51 FTEs across four departments: Administrative Services, Community and Economic Development, Finance, and Public Works. North Bend is in King County-the 12th most populous county in the United States.
