American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma facility in Kalamazoo, MI, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification with Epic EMR proficiency.
Details- Level I Trauma acute care hospital setting serving adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations across ED and outpatient environments
- Potential to float to an affiliated advanced radiology services outpatient location nearby
- CT procedures include abdomen & pelvis (with/without contrast), chest (including vascular/CTA, pulmonary embolism, aorta, cardiac), head & neck (carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma), and spine/musculoskeletal studies (cervical, lumbar, thoracic, MSK trauma)
- Special procedures include brain perfusions and vascular CTA; preferred experience includes coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, biopsies, aspirations, colonography, and drainage
- Image processing includes multiplanar reconstruction (MPR); preferred skills include 3D rendering (MIP, SSD, volume rendering) and ROI measurement
- GE CT equipment and PACS system in use; Epic EMR required
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every third weekend requires a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM night shift
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT(R) required; ARRT(CT) preferred
- BLS (AHA) required
- Level I Trauma facility experience required
- Experience with GE CT equipment and PACS required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in abdomen & pelvis, chest, head & neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT scanning required
- Skills in isolation precautions, contrast media preparation and administration, and radiation safety required
- Must be able to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- License required if applicable
- Perform a broad range of CT imaging studies across trauma, ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Preferred skills include starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, and experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Preferred procedure experience includes enterography studies, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, colonography, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
- Full availability required during orientation week
- Holiday time off requests are not guaranteed to be approved
- Navy scrubs required
