div This position is responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.nbsp; /div div br/nbsp; /div div Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public. /div div br/nbsp; /divh3Responsibilities/h3divdiv ul liEnsure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner/li liLoad customer orders properly on the truck/li liEnsure appropriate forms are completed/li liLoad, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner/li liMaintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs/li liProvide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers/li liAdhere to assigned routes and following time schedules/li liAbide by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record/li liPrepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries/li liOperate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc./li liPerform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers/li /ul /div/divh3Qualifications/h3divdiv strongMinimum Requirements:/strong /div div ul liMust be at least 21 years of agenbsp;/li liMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future/li liMust have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License/li liMust have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed "medical examiner" listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment/li liMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.nbsp;/li liMust be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation/li /ul /div div nbsp; /div div strongPreferred Qualifications:/strong /div div ul liHave at least a High School diploma or GED/li liHave at least one (1) year experience working as a delivery drivernbsp;/li liHave at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)/li liHave previous work experience selling paint and paint related products/li liAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language/li liAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish/li /ul /div/divh2Company/h2divpAt Sherwin-Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters.
