Well, here’s your chance to join and do just that! nbsp;Our facility boasts two indoor pools and an outdoor seasonal pool.br/nbsp;/ppOpportunity for advancement for interested candidates and employees since we promote from within: nearly all of our Head Lifeguards, Coordinators, Assistant Directors and Directors started out as part-time Lifeguards!/ppLifeguards must have the ability to recognize and respond to hazardous situations. They must be able to supervise swimmers, minimize dangers, educate members about water safety, enforce rules and give assistance whenever needed. Eligible candidates should possess a current Red Cross Lifeguard or YMCA Lifeguard certification (or be willing and able to obtain via one of our FREE courses) and additional First Aid related certifications.br//ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliUnderstands emergency procedures and recognizes and responds to emergency situations in the pool area./liliMaintains effective, positive relationships with the members, participants and other team members.nbsp;/liliUnderstands and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool area.
