• Annual Volume: The emergency department handles approximately 15,000 visits annually, offering a diverse range of cases and experiences for physicians.
• Trauma Center Level: The facility is a level 4 trauma center, equipped to manage a wide range of medical emergencies and trauma cases.
• Coverage: Physicians benefit from 24-hour physician coverage and 6-hour APC coverage, ensuring continuous care and support for patients.
• Bed Capacity: The emergency department comprises 12 beds, providing ample space to accommodate patient needs and ensure efficient workflow.
• Full-Time Schedule: Full-time employment entails 144 hours per month, equivalent to -hour shifts, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
• Shift Preference: Preference is given to physicians willing to work 12-hour shifts, offering a schedule that accommodates individual preferences.

Qualifications:

• Acceptance of IM/FM-Trained Physicians: The facility welcomes physicians trained in family medicine, internal medicine, or emergency medicine with relevant experience in emergency medicine.
• Board Certification: Physicians must be board certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine. Board eligibility in emergency medicine will also be considered for providers awaiting examination.
