Position Summary:
Promotes high quality, safe, efficient and effective care for nursing, home health aides, rehab and office staff. Follows organizational, professional regulatory and accrediting body policies, requirements, standards and guidelines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Assists with the development of policies and procedures to ensure organizational efficiencies as appropriate.
2. Interprets to the patient and family the implications of the diagnosis and nature of the treatment, consistent with the Physician's instruction.
3. Notifies physician and Clinical Supervisor of changes in patient condition.
Required:
•Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preference will be given to applicants with educational preparation appropriate to the immediate or long-range needs of the agency.
•Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
•Minimum of one to two years of med/surg., critical care or demonstrated experience in a specialty area.
•Current Michigan driver's license and proof of valid automobile insurance.
Preferred:
•Two years hospital experience.
•Experience in a certified home health agency.
