Inpatient Physical Therapist – Per Diem

h2Overview/h2 pOrganizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs./p h2Responsibilities/h2 liExamines, evaluates, diagnoses, determines prognosis and provides intervention. Reports findings to other health care team members. Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching./li liPlans therapy involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, etc./li liParticipates in and supports in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, committees, etc./li liProvides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits./li liCoordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings./li liDetermines and implements annual plan for professional development./li liDelegates tasks to support personnel./li liPerforms other duties as required or assigned./li h2Qualifications/h2 ul li Bachelor's degree if graduate prior to 2002; minimum of Master's degree if graduating in 2002 or later./li /ul h2Required Licensure/Certifications/h2 ul liLicensed PT with NH eligibility/li liBLS/li /ul
