Join our EVS team to help maintain a safe and clean environment for our Medical Center here in Lebanon./p p/p p /p pEnvironmental Services is a large (170+) team of Service Professionals responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment. Our team receives advanced training in disinfection and infection prevention to clean in patient care areas. They utilize state of the art equipment in order to clean our 1.8 million square feet of space. Customer service is also our specialty, as we work with and around our patients and staff in a very busy medical center./p p /p pstrongIf you do not have experience, we will train you for this position./strong/p ul liStart at $17/hour and earn more depending on how many years of work experience you have./li liOpportunities for growth in a patient care setting within EVS and D-H./li liVarieties of work assignments to fit your interest, skills and strengths./li liUp to $3,000 per year tuition reimbursement available./li liGreat benefits package! - Check out our benefits here!/li /ul pPerforms a variety of general cleaning duties including buffing and refinishing of floors, carpet maintenance and the transporting of all waste, recyclables and other materials./p h2Responsibilities/h2 liHand dust, sweep, dry and/or wet mop, spot clean, vacuum, wash walls, windows, sills, clean bathrooms, auto scrub, strip, seal, spray buff, burnish, finish floors, and bonnet buff and extract carpet in assigned areas./li liRemoves all bed linens and replaces with clean linens, cleans mattress, pillows and all other furniture in patient unit. Cleans wastebaskets, lockers, bathrooms, window sills, and floors. Maintains a daily record of all discharge and transfer units cleaned./li liCollects, transports, and delivers equipment, supplies and waste (hazardous, contaminated and recycled materials)./li liEnsures that all housekeeping equipment is clean, safe and properly maintained. Reports all faulty equipment to the supervisor./li liRemoves drapes, cubical curtains and furniture for cleaning and repair./li liReplaces all consumable supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels and soap./li liMoves furniture and changes light bulbs./li liResponds to emergency cleaning needs and "OOPS" calls./li liCleans cardiac chairs, stretchers, wheelchairs, and other equipment as directed by the supervisor./li liOperates tow motor, picking up trash carts from designated locations and transporting them to the Waste Management Center./li liPerforms other duties as required or assigned./li h2Qualifications/h2 ul liHigh school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred./li liAbility to read and write required./li liPrior satisfactory work experience is preferred./li /ul h2Required Licensure/Certifications/h2 ul liNone/li /ul
