Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Foreman with at least two years of professional experience to lead our talented crew in executing high-end residential landscaping projects. As a Landscape Foreman, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of landscape professionals, and ensure the successful completion of projects that meet our clients' exacting standards. Your expertise, leadership, and passion for creating beautiful outdoor environments will contribute to our company's continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution: Lead and actively participate in the installation of landscape designs, including planting, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and outdoor features such as patios, walkways, and water elements.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a crew of 3-6 landscape technicians, ensuring efficient workflows, adherence to safety protocols, and high-quality craftsmanship.
Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to understand their vision, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns to ensure complete satisfaction.
Site Management: Coordinate on-site activities, including scheduling, equipment maintenance, material deliveries, and compliance with project plans and specifications.
Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets company standards, client expectations, and industry best practices, addressing any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, crew hours, and material usage, reporting to the project manager as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in landscaping, with a focus on high-end residential projects.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing small teams in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, including planting, pruning, irrigation, and hardscape installation (e.g., stonework, pavers, retaining walls).
Familiarity with operating and maintaining landscaping equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators, mowers, and hand tools).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.
Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans and blueprints.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
Certification in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields is a plus but not required.
