Maintenance Tech-Flint/Saginaw

Join Our Team as a Machine Maintenance Tech working in the Flint Facility and then Transitioning to the Saginaw Facility

Pay Rate is $23-30/hr depending on experience

Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Description

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
• Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
• Work with facility manager to continually update the production process and equipment.
• Safely operate power tools, welders, machines and hand tools.
• Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications.
• Maintain parts and tools inventory.
• Prepare maintenance reports and summary presentations using daily activity logs, analysis and trends.
• Maintain 480 Volt Three phase power and distribution
• Troubleshoot VFDs, PLCs, robots, and ladder logic
• Facility maintenance and repair
• Maintain and repair tooling, dies and molds
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance/ heavy equipment experience or technical or college training
• basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical prints
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment
• Comfortable with computers
• Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
