Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract requiring ARRT R.T.(R) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with rotating 36/48-hour biweekly schedules on a Friday–Sunday night rotation.

Details
  • Work in a hospital CT department
  • Schedule rotates between 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts biweekly (84 hours per two-week pay period), alternating weekly
  • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Every other weekend is required
  • GE equipment and PACS system used
  • Meditech EMR system in use
  • Floating within clinical scope of practice is required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech or X-Ray Tech
  • Active ARRT registration as R.T.(R) required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • Active KY state license or compact license required; license required if applicable — candidates willing to apply for KY licensure upon offer will be considered, but must apply the day of acceptance
  • Experience with GE imaging equipment and PACS required
  • Driver's license with permanent address on file required for consideration
  • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • 2 professional references required: 1 charge nurse or higher and 1 supervisor, both completed within the last year
  • Middle name required; confirmation needed if none exists
Additional Information
  • Candidates must be willing and able to accept the rotating 36/48-hour biweekly schedule; inability to do so may result in cancellation
  • Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
  • Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
  • Travelers must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
  • After working for one year within the system, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
  • Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis and will not be placed on the same shift or unit
  • Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
