Dependable Staffing Agency is looking to hire compassionate, competent, and dedicated MAs to fill the needs of our California community. These are immediate openings with both full-time and part-time shifts available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

The Temporary/Relief Medical Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clinical duties, which include procedures as regulated by certification such as, but not limited to, the following:

1. Administer basic life support in emergencies to patients/youth and staff;
2. Use medical equipment safely;
3. Administer intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections and skin tests;
4. Administer eye/ear washes;
5. Administer prescribed medications topically, sublingually, and orally;
6. Administer basic breathing treatments;
7. Remove casts, splints, sutures, and other external devices;
8. Change simple dressing;
9. Collect blood via capillary and venipuncture techniques;
10. Collect lab specimens using appropriate collection equipment; label specimens appropriately for evaluation;
11. Other duties as assigned per job description

• Active CPR Card/First Aid
• CA State I.D.
• Social Security Card
• TB Test
• Covid vaccine card
• N95 Mask Fit Test

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

1. Twelve (12) continuous months of experience
2. Current and valid Medical Assistant Certificate from an agency approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California, to practice as a Medical Assistant
3.  Possess Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association Provider or
   American Red Cross (with AED);
4. Be proficient in the English language and be able to communicate effectively
