• Salary: $350-425K + Sign On Bonus

Opportunity Adult Psychiatrist- Inpatient Unit opening for a BC/BE Psychiatrist for our IP Behavior Health Unit. This Health Unit is a 14-bed inpatient unit that provides a multi-faceted approach to mental health treatment for patients 18 years and older.Unit
• Team is comprised of 2 MD and 1 APP
• Registered Nurses
• Licensed Practical Nurses
• Social Workers
• Mental Health Counselors
• Nursing Assistants/Safety Assistants
• Locum/Per Diem Weekend Coverage
• 14-Bed Locked Inpatient Unit
• Daily group therapy and individual sessions
• Experienced discharge planning staff
Clinical Responsibilities
• Attending Psychiatrist to round daily on patients, admit and discharge to behavior health unit.
• Supervise APP's with occasional student rotations.
• Call is 1 week per month.
• Duties include direct in-patient consultation services and emergency room patient consults in conjunction with the mental health team.

Qualifications
• Medical degree from an accredited university.
• A valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
• Board certified in Psychiatry and completed residency in an ACGME accredited Psychiatry residency program.
